Life As I Know IT

As I post this blog, I'm reminded of the Reba McIntyre song: "Is There Life Out There?" This song is about a woman who married young, had children, and is wondering is there more to life than home, work, husband and kids. Well, the past year has been an awesome year for me. I have done lots of traveling, had some of my dreams come true. But, I realize there is nothing more important that family. Family keeps you grounded, family is there no matter what, and family always takes you back with open arms. From October 2, 2008 till July 2, 2009, I attended 6 NKOTB shows. They were so wonderful! I felt as though I added a piece to the puzzle of me. The puzzle of life that is still being put together. Each show added one of those pieces. I have met some amazing women, saw some amazing things, gotten to travel and see new places, 3 a.m. McDonald's runs, etc. I have had amazing times. Now, I've had some people say they wouldn't arena stalk and sit outside all, or hang out after concerts waiting for the group to come out, go to 6 of the same concerts, etc etc. But, it's all in what floats your boat. Yes, I married young, yes I had children young, and yes I'm back in school working on my RN with 4 kids, 2 dogs, 1 bird, a hubby, house, and 2 full time jobs as a LPN. I wouldn't take back anything in my life at all. I have made choices I regret, but I've learned from those. I am thankful each day for my family and thankful that they love me, even though I have a serious New Kids addiction!
