Hey, It's Joe Mac.


Yesterday I get home from taking yet another child to the doctor and I see where we can now call and leave a message for NKOTB. You have got to be effin kiddin me! So, of course I dial the number, listen to Joe's heavenly voice speak, and here comes time for me to leave a message. Now, I'm all choked up and sick and sound like a bull frog talking. My message is something like:"Hey I saw you guys in DC and Charlotte, coming to Richmond to check you out again. Been a fan for so long and I need some facetime." Then I put my 10 year old on the phone, and I"m coaxing him the whole time as to what to say. He says:"My mom is your biggest fan and she needs some passes. Oh yeah, soundcheck passes, backstage passes (i'm whispering this to him), facetime, whaever. Just hook her up. Ok, bye." All the while my 4 year old daughter is screaming in the background:"I wanna talk to New Kids!" My 17 year old is laughing his butt off at me and my 8 year old is calling them "New Terds on the Block." I can imagine they are really going to call me back. They prolly think I'm some crazy woman who doesn't know what birth control and a muzzle are. So, at midnight last night, ya know the house was somewhat quiet. Well, quiet other than the 10 year old with the croup barking-i mean coughing-very loudly, I leave another message. I'm still talking like a bull frog, but my message is like: "I really want to meet you guys and get some facetime. I've got a crew of girls coming with me that need to meet you all too-especially Joey!" I'm not that creative on the spot like that. My next message is going to have to be more planned out. I'm sure lots of people have sung, screamed, put their kids on the phone, etc. But, there's got to be something else. I think the bishes need to plan something. An organized effort may mean some extra facetime. Hmmmm

    LOL Don't worry I had to call back and leave another message. Although I had to call from my husband's phone because I couldn't call back for some reason on my phone. An organized effort sounds good..anything for extra face time!

I'm so late putting this out and I'm so sorry. It's not like I have a lot of followers, but I did promise on Twitter that I would get out my experience in VA Beach and so here it is!!! New Kids Concert Memphis July 2009

I never even posted a blog on Memphis! I can't believe I didn't! I had such a great time there. I met a lot of great girls, ran into Jessee McCartney at my hotel, saw a lot of things I have never seen before, and finally did a NKOTB meet and greet. It was a week I will never forget! Starts out that Shannon and I decide to go, so she drives up from Charlotte, NC to my house in VA and we roll out to Tennessee. We stop in Blountville, TN at a Sonic. Our waitress had big blonde southern hair and Shannon ordered a banana. Of course, I tweeted it! We then picked up Mary Beth and Savannah and off to Nashville. We decided to stop in Nashville because of the long drive to Memphis. We tour ed the down town area and see all the sights and sounds that is Nashville. What About Your Friends?

Tonight, I decided to FINALLY update my blog! It's been awhile. Something has been on my mind lately. Friends. How many I have, how many are true, how many are there for me when I need them. These are all good qualities to have in a friend, but what about the ones that live far away? Can you still be besties? I've learned over the years that friends come and go, you will have those who are not truly your friends, and those who are just there out of convinience. Sadly for me, most of my best friends live far away or we are just so busy we can't find time for each other. That presents another question, am I a good friend for not taking time out for girl time?
