NKOTBSB


On May 29, I went to NKOTBSB in Baltimore, MD with some awesome Blockheads. I was blessed to have a friend who purchased my ticket and invited me along. I had the best time. I didn't get my pic snapped with any of them this time, but I did get to see some of them and saw an awesome show. The highlight of my time was meeting Rob Lewis. He is the musical director extrodinaire behind NKOTBSB. The whole show was a mash up of both groups. But, also a mash up of old school melody/new school melodies placed with NKOTB and BSB lyrics. I was in awe how the music and show came together so awesomely. I'm still in shock! I go back to watching the videos daily. My hats off to you Rob. I know it was not only the work of Rob, but of all the other band members, crew members, managers, and of course NKOTBSB.

They opened the show with Single/The One that was set to the melody of One Republic. AWESOME!!!! I think that Joe Mac had something to do with this. His always been rock with a smooth jazz/r&b flavor. I screamed like such a girl, wait, I am a girl! But, speaking of mash ups, my fav was "If You Stay." Old school funk with BSB.
Then there was another BSB mash up that was AWESOME!!
But, I can't leave my loves out....NKOTB. Favorite Girl had me remembering when big pants, Cross Colours, high top sneakers, big gold chains, gold teeth, etc. lol......

I did some arena stalking, met another BH for life Shelissa (unlock the damn picture so I can download here woman!), got to have fun and invent new sayings. Here they are:
1. Little wee wee, big mirror
2. Pointer finger in the air (because of a woman in a covertible picking her nose then putting her finger in the air to blow the booger off...ewwww!!!)
3. Souf in ya mouf (after Tammy learned there was NO SWEET tea at UNO's)
4. Sweating Like a Whore In Church-what can I say, it was HOT!!!!

I'm ready for July 23! I wanna do this all over again!

Ok, I'm going to Greenville, SC on St. Patty's Day

Well, my hubby is pissed. I had a manic moment this morning and decided to buy a ticket to go to Greenville. When I found out last night that Erica was going, then I saw the plans starting to be put into motion and I saw that I was not going to be a part of them. Why Change????? from January 2008

Ya know, I've been pondering something the last couple of days. Do I really need to change me? One of my bosses seems to think so. Now, don't get me wrong, I really do respect her opinion, but then again, I respect me too. Here's the deal. Yes, I am very loud at times. I do know when to control that. I don't take any shit off of anyone and everyone who knows me knows that. So, I guess that can be considered disrespectful, or is it? I am 29 years old. Up until the age of 23, I really did let people walk all over top of me. I hated high school because of things I had to put up with. Kids are just plain mean. Graduate, start hanging with the wrong crew, who were using me for my car. Get involved with a BOY who is a piece of crap and leaves me pregnant and broke. Ya know, but I rose above ALL of this.
